Possible update on the NO sign
After reading about someone sending an email regarding the NO sign to the tourism bureau yesterday, I decided to join the plea. I sent an email as well. Here is what I sent: Good afternoon Ms. Beverly Nicholson-Doty, As a yearly visitor to St Thomas and St John, I have a daily habit of checking the ...

Re: Another option for closed STJ beaches
Thanks, Liamsaunt. Right after I posted I realized I should have also suggested Secret Harbour. It's where we stayed on our very first trip in 2007. A nice little beach. Good snorkeling without having to go real far. Great beach bar and restaurant.

Re: Another option for closed STJ beaches
I highly suggest a beach trip to STT. Just take the people ferry over. You can catch a cab to Sapphire Beach and enjoy a day there. The snorkeling is good and you can either bring your own cooler with food/drinks or buy from them on the beach. You could also take a cab a little further down the road...

I've enjoyed reading his story. I never met or even saw the man, but I think he had a lot of ideas about life right. RIP

Re: Fresch Fisch to buy ??
We have also purchased from the Double Header guys. You just watch for their boat to come in from fishing in the later afternoon. Then walk down to the dock and kind of hang around a little until the charter passengers have left. Then approach the boat and ask if they will have some extra catch of t...

Re: who knows this Charter ???
We've done a sunset sail on Calypso from St John. It was a really nice time. The boat can carry many passengers but on the evening that we sailed there were only 8 of us. They served small snacks and had an open bar. It lasted about 1.5-2 hours. We really enjoyed it.

Re: 1st time staying on STT
Hello. We've stayed at Sapphire several times. It is a great place. You wake up and walk out your door and you're on the beach! The snorkeling there is nice. I've seen the Budget office at the resort but have not rented from them so I really don't have any advice on that. If you do decide to rent on...
