Using Mileage for the Direct Flight
Does anyone know when AA will allow you to use Advantage Miles to book on their direct Flights. I am looking for mid Jan. to early Feb. and can get seats on miles but not on the direct flights. In the past I have been able to book on miles and then switch to the direct flight but I am not exactly su...

Mask
Maybe it is just me, but I feel that a mask needs to be fitted to your face. People have different size heads, features, and preferences so I think to get a proper fit, you need to go to a good dive shop and be fitted. Nothing spoils a snokel faster than a leaky mask.

Mask
Just my opinion, but buying a mask on the Internet would be like buying a set of false teath on the Internet. You need to be properly fitted cosidering the size of your head, face type, features etc. The mask is the single most important piece of equipment you will buy so go to a good dive shop and ...

We pack our frozen food in newspaper and aluminum foil and have never had a problem, either as a carry on or checked luggage.

Sapphire Beach
Holly If you are renting from Antilles, the rental agent, you can request a different room if for any reason you are not happy with your condo. If you are renting direct from an owner get pictures, and be sure to have a contact phone number in case anything goes wrong. There are rumors that the rest...

Presidents week flights
I would go to American Airlines web site and pick out the flight you want, before you actually book the flight check the seating availability. If the plane is getting full I would book sooner rather than later. American usually has direct flights that time of year. Also check out Spirit Air out of P...

STT Vacations
Cat My shopping bug was killed by large doses of Cruzan taken internally and with great frequency. Over the years I have done a lot of snorkeling and diving. My favorite dives are night dives, and a night dive at Coki is an unforgettable experience. Although I don't know if any of the dive companies...

STT Vacations
Hi Cat Have been vacationing in STT for close to 30 years, and while I love to visit STJ we have never stayed there for even one night. It is our preference to be right on the beach so we can have early morning beach walks, coffee on the beach, naps on the beach, drinks on the beach, evening beach wa...

Baby Food
FF last January I just happened to have a young mother and her baby sit next to me in the terminal while we were waiting to board. She was in tears because they made her take the baby food out of her carry on and pack it in checked luggage. She said she had checked and TSA said it was OK, but they s...

Another option
One thing you might look into is to arrange in advance for a taxi to take her in town and then back to the airport when everone has arrived to take the group to the ferry. It would be less hastle for everyone and would work well for her if it isn't too expensive.

Sunrise/Sunset
Sea- Nile I too love sunsets and sunrises. I have to admit I see more sunsets. I have been very fortunate to have traveled quite a bit, and have gotten to see some spectacular scenes with the sun rising over the Alps in Switzerland, and sunset over Rome. Given that to an extent all sunsets and sunr...

Four Seasons
Maryanne Just so you know the Four Seasons Resort was completely destroyed by a hurricane in the mid 90's as I recall. It was a storm that did not hit the VI. The resort was closed for a few years and was completely rebuilt. So It is less than ten years old. I have stayed at Four Seasons and Ritz's ...

Nevis
I have stayed at the Four Seasons on Nevis. It is usually rated as one of the top resorts in the world, and it probably deserves that rating. The service is excellent, the resort and beach immaculate, and the food incredible. It has a geourgeous golf course complete with wild monkeys. To be honest I...
