Bonefishing locations

Ok...will be our first time on st John. I love to scuba and snorkel. Hubby is fly fisherman and golfer. So ...no options for golf , but what about bonefishing? Can you divulge a bay/beach to wade in for him to try? He will snorkel some , but that's not his most fav activity for a week.

Thanks to all your responses! I called USAir ..the agent said it would be domestic. Just for kicks, I called again (of course got a diff agent) and she said international. However, she said for change fee purposes, would be 150.00 as international fee is for transatlantic or transpacific, and USVI d...

Misery loves company. I'm a little relieved to see that for our family trip (first to STJ) end of July that we aren't the only ones paying out the nose for air. I thought I probably made a big mistake when I booked, at over 800 per per....crazy crazy! We are USAir out of little rock . But I see we a...

Day trip for 7 adults and 8 mo old?

Hi,
Love this forum and finally posted a ticker!!( I THINK) Yay!
As says the ticker, we will be first-timers on st. John. I have looked at day-trip options, and many boats have a 6 person limit. Anyone rec a small boat that would accommodate our family? :?:

I rarely snorkel w/o fins.
They enable you to mogate thru the water like a fish...don't need any arms for snorkeling, really, and you can much more easily move around with the fins.
Take your own, if possible, and enjoy!

Travelocity - booking multiple airlines not a good idea

I had MANY problems with Travelocity once on a Bahamas trip from STL to Treasure Cay, Bahamas. The itin i booked used 2 airlines. It was a nightmare as time neared for departure and flights schedules changed, but apparently each airline was unaware of the full itin, so the scheduling included imposs...
