The only tip I know is make sure you are dry and the wet suit is totally dry; otherwise, you will have one hell of a time putting it on (personal experience).

We visited STJ in early October 2004 and it was lovely.....very warm, calm water, no rain, hardly anyone on the beaches. The restaurants were all open too. Would do it again in a heart beat.

Liamsaunt is correct....a wetsuit will make all the difference in the world. I certified in 42 degree water and my body stayed fairly warm at that temperature. If your hands and feet get cold, use gloves and booties.

I haven't stayed at this villa, but did stay at Miles Away in Fish Bay. I'm not fond of Fish Bay because I just don't think it is as pretty as nearby areas such as Rendezvous Bay (which is gorgeous).

Again, just my personal preference.
