We have usually used O'Connor and have never had an issue. You can't count on using their office in town for parking (Not sure if that's even an option) but otherwise they've been very reliable. Once or twice the person there has been slightly brusque but more often they are friendly and helpful.

For the folks who bring lunch meat, do you freeze it beforehand or just keep it cold in the cooler?

I don't know if its available or not, but have you considered Grande Bay? We just stayed there with our 7.5 and 4.5 year olds and it worked out very nicely. The pool isn't huge but it is perfectly fine for the post-beach dip. And the 1 bdrm units were certainly big enough for the 4 of us.
