We are sailing in the Grenadines this year so are missing St. John as well....it's ok......so many islands, so little time!!!

We stayed at Sol last Feb...6 adults...loved it but I agree it was a bit far from town (plus we only had one car which was....well, it was stupid!). I have been there and am going back in January. Tiny little quiet island...not nearly as Americanized as St John, very Caribbean...so many islands, so little time....try it:)

We always travel in Feb so we don't know any better! We have no problem swimming at that time of year, so I agree that it does depend on what you are used to. We have never had a heated pool, but then again we don't generally swim at night....can't help there. It's glorious any time in my opinion!!!...

Vista Caribe looks lovely.....I would not worry about one bedroom being in a separate pod..some like that! Also, it's so hard to find bedrooms all under the same roof. Go with your gut and good luck

Only been to St.John twice and to Trunk both times. Don't like to pay and don't like crowds, but found Trunk lovely both times, EVEN during Pres Week:) Just went with it.... definitely not on the must do list, but was a newbie the 1st time and with newbies the 2nd. Next time, don't need to go...but ...
