I really was windy that day! We were at Annaberg the same day as you, but probably earlier in the day as we headed to Waterlemon afterward. Unfortunately our visit coincided with a cruise excursion, so Annaberg was packed for the first half hour.

If it was me and I was walking from Cruz Bay, Salomon would be my first choice. The hike is fairly short - 20-30 min as I recall - and easy. I think it would be the perfect introduction to what makes STJ special. My family is planning to do that hike next week - I can't wait!

I just love watching these eagles! This year's eaglets are referred to as D12, D13,and D14 (whom I watched hatch). I assume that implies that the Decorah pair has has 14 offspring to date.
