Re: What's on your Play List??

If there is room on the iPod, you may want to consider the Clash, Talking Heads, Bob Marley and Kenny Chesney, Life on a Rock, the whole album.

Sounds great to me. I suspect that if you live there, you will see quite a bit of your children.

Re: Zozo's

Concur 100% with the da Livio recommendation. If you are looking for great Italian, it is my island favorite. ZoZo's to me is okay. Nice place. Maybe I will like it better in the new location.

Re: 1st Beach Tradition

Our "tradition" is that if there is parking at Gibney--we park. If that fails, on to Maho or Francis.

Re: Trip report...of sorts

Thanks for this report. Vida de Mar is always on my short list but I have yet to execute. I really like the Devers Bay location. Haven't gotten to know Ruth and Ron too well but I know what you mean. She is special as are most of the folks you get to know on St John. We are going out with Captain Br...

I have been logging on every day just to see if you posted a new report. They are all great. I saw an eagle ray several years ago at Waterlemon. Sounds like you had a great day.

We love R&I Patton. Rudy and Irene make beautiful things. I have several pieces from Irene and they always get complements.

Re: Lime in De Coconut?

We stayed at Lime in de Coconut in June. It was excellent. Paul, the owner, is a great host. We enjoyed all the toys he has at the beach--kayaks, paddle boards and played there each morning. There was also great snorkeling from his beach. And we had one of the best days on his boat with Captain Ocea...

Overrated--Zozo's, good but a little over-seasoned and overpriced
Underrated--Agree on Tamarind Court--we always enjoy it

We always take a day for Jost. If you can include Sandy Spit as part of the trip, the you can't go wrong.

We are here. Just counting down to the next trip. I confess that I don't come here as frequently as in the past. But I enjoy everyone's reports.

In Cruz Bay, Jake's, former home of Chilly Billy's has a good breakfast. So does Deli Grotto and the Inn at Tamarind Court.

Lovely picture Mary Beth. I would just head on out to Vie's tomorrow. Maybe this will end soon. As a federal employee, I sure hope it does.
