It does Pia! Thanks so much!!! We were toying with staying on STT the last night like we normally do, but I think we will be ok. Check in at the airport with Amalie takes all of about 3 minutes. We leave on the 20th so I think we are far enough away from Carnival by that time...not positive though.

Pia - do you know if Delta has the 3 hour policy as well? Also, if you were taking the car barge/ferry...whatever...and had a 1:45 Delta flight on a weekday in mid-July, what car barge would you want to be on?

Toni - did you book this trip? I am interested to see where you picked. We were in Belgium last year in addition to the Netherlands, Germany and Austria. We started in Amsterdam and traveled by train and ended in Vienna. We hit lots of cities in between. Ghent and Antwerp are cool in Belgium. We got...

Re: Any jellies lately.
We were on STJ 7/19-7/26 and snorkeled at least a few hours every day sometimes two snorkels a day (Hawksnest, Francis (2x's), Cinnamon, Great Lameshur, Maho, Waterlemon, Leinster, the flats off of the parking lot by Annaberg). Only one time did something sting me to where it was aggrivating and tha...

Re: Once in a Lifetime snorkel - Manta Ray sighting.
We saw one there Friday! It was HUGE! I couldn't believe it! I swam with it and was just so in awe! It came in close to us as we were swimming along the shore about 30 feet from the beach. I spotted it coming in. It checked us out then swam out, and I followed it for a while as it swam out. SO aweso...

Re: 8:00am Flight Home Need STT Advice
We stay at BW Emerald Beach 1 or 2 nights before heading over to STJ and our last night now. It's nothing fancy, but we love being on the beach and being able to just get on island time in the begining and not have to rush on villa departure day. We do rent our car on STT now though because of this....

Re: Rash guards
I wear them all of the time now when I swim...less sunblock needed...woo hoo. I have gotten them at Sports Authority, Academy, and a local outfitters store (Massey's). Friends and family have bought them at Cruz Bay Watersports and Low Key on St. John with STJ logos on them and another one bought on...

Re: Villa Help - sunsets!
We stayed on Gifft Hill at Seawatch and liked the sunsets but our pool was FREEZING in late June. It was so cold, we couldn't swim in it. I don't know about the other villas up there, but that was a definite negative for us. The views from Argonauta...especially the sunsets are AMAZING. We like bein...

Re: Recommendations for Private Charter for 6 - Snorkel not
Get your captain to stay in US waters so you don't waste time at customs. We did the caves once...not all that and wouldn't do it again. One trip, we had our captain take us around St. John and it was REALLY cool seeing the whole island from the water. We snorkeled the brothers or something like tha...
