Can we make a 45 minute layover?
In MIA coming home from STT and onto PHL. Looks like a change of planes in MIA. We're not so sure about this. Carry on only. Or.... Don't take our chances. Get some dinner and drinks in MIA airport and get a flight back to PHL with a 2 1/2 hour layover in MIA. We're going to book today or tomorrow.

Re: Any ideas for flights from PHL
I get it Chris. Our original plan was to go to 9/11 the day before we left for STT. That fell through because of the white knuckle drive up to NY.
No, we'll never go out of JFK again. By the time we paid for the hotel and the parking it was a wash.

Re: Any ideas for flights from PHL
We can get to the Philly airport and be inside within 20 minutes, so it's really close. Exit Zero, husband called about that flight and it was a U.S. Air flight, that has since been cancelled since the merge. We're still pushing on with all these suggestions. We would love to use our miles on AA, bu...

Any ideas for flights from PHL
We're trying to book flights for June. Flying from PHL is crazy. There are no direct flights. We have a free ticket on AA, but the layover in PR would be 4 hours going down and 3 hours coming back. The farefor one person is right around 550, which is a deal, but do we go with that because of the air...

Re: Serendipity or Cruz Views
Thanks Janice. If it's just the 2 of us, it will be Serendip for sure. If our friends come along we'll find somewhere else. We're very close to them, but not close at Serendip

Can you explain to me where it is? I'm familiar with Starfish Market, the tennis courts? How far is Serendip from there?

Serendipity or Cruz Views
Ok, we're hooked on STJ. We've been talking about going back for our 40th Anniversary. I have checked homeaway constantly. It will be for early next June. I've checked Grande Bay which looks beautiful and I have have also received and email from someone who owns 2 beautiful Villas. The problem is we...

Also, if you go to the off top forum, Susan wrote a great blog about Key West. It's called "back for seconds"

Re: Off topic....Florida Keys
We have been down the Keys 3 times. Once just my husband and myself, once with 2-15 year olds and once with friends. I think everyone should "do" the Keys once. It truly an amazing drive if you rent a car, which of course you have to. We usually fly into Fort Lauderdale, rent a car, and we...

Re: Trip report from a newbie
"The talk" is going on in our house right now. Husband and I will be married 40 years next June. Where do the years go? We have been all over the map on this. Europe? I want to go, but I would miss the sand and warm water. Sanibel? One of our favorite places, but no snorkeling. Mexico? Don...

I wrote a trip report on TA. I tried to copy and paste here but couldn't.
It's kind of long.
We loved STJ!
