There are a few steps down to get to the front door of the condo. There are three levels to Palm Terrace with Tropical Blessings on the second level. We've stayed there several times and are staying right now in Tropical Blessings, a three bedroom three bath condo at Palm Terrace. Very nice place and close to town. All the condos are roomy.

For the middle of the road restaurants you mentioned tshirts and shorts are just fine. If anything more upscale like ZoZo's, etc. the men probably need a shirt with a collar and probably no baseball hats but for all other restaurants a hat is just fine. I'm not going to style my hair on a STJ vacati...

We have stayed in this area a couple of times and love the views. There are also areas where you can get down to the beach. Many of the villas have great outdoor areas (we've stayed at Vistaero - now called something else, Villa Sanctuary, Chateau Le Tete Rouge)
