Re: Heading back tomorrow....

mbw1024 how was our island? Anxious to hear your take on it. My main concern is finding shade on the beaches. Maho is our fav as it is easy for my husband but have not seen any photos of the actual beach. Hope you had a wonderful trip.

Re: Ticker check

Thank you Suziekue and hoosierdaddy for the well wishes. If we can make it work we will be on island tail end of May and into June which will be a first for us. We have always traveled in March, April or beginning of May. It would have been so awesome to meet up with both of you!

Island local Wasi Philbert

Good morning forum friends. We have been coming to St John for over 20 years (a few years missed due to husbands illness) and am wondering if any of you know Wasi? We are trying to make a return in 2019 and stumbled on what looks like a really nice rental owned by Wasi. I am almost ready to pull the...

Hello Suziekue :D So glad you have a ticker!! We don't have one...yet...but we sure are trying to figure out how we can make it back to our beloved St John. Fingers crossed we will celebrate our "50"th anniversary in 2019 on island.

St Thomas

After 20+ years of visits to our beloved St John, we will not be returning. My husband has had some major health issues and St John is not "user friendly" if you have any kind of disability. He walks with a cane and we all know St john is lots and lots of walking, climbing up and down step...

Direct access on the beach

Due to my husbands health issues, we need somewhere that does not involve too much walking. I am thinking Sapphire Beach is probley a good option. We have been coming to St John for 20+ years, but it is just too much walking plus parking has become a nightmare....Any suggestions would be greatly app...

Re: April

We just returned from 2 weeks in April and the weather was glorious. One afternoon of rain and rain during the night....but otherwise just absolutely wonderful. We have been going in April or May for a while and we have always been very fortunate when it came to the weather. One year it was pouring ...

Another question concerning EWR

You were all so helpful with my first question about flying in and out of EWR. I feel comfortable with a 1hr 17min layover going down BUT coming home the layover is only 53min.....thoughts?? I just don't know if that is doable or if I should just bite the bullet and fly Delta coming home. I wanted t...
