I'm really curious as to how much these things cost, so I've been trying to find out, to no avail, so far. I've been stunned with how expensive even a metal life guard chair can cost. Some that I found, were over $5000.00 just for a chair, sans umbrella. So I'm wondering, are these new stations $30,0...

I see those things as being indicative of more of the general excess of this society that many of us have come to despise. I can't help but wonder how much each of these clubhouses cost, as I figure that these are paid for with tax dollars. Gee, why don't they go ahead and make them air-conditioned ...

This is killing me. The more that they bring the east/ west mainland USA shore to STJ the less I want to keep going back. Just saying...

Five million views by sometime today!

The STJ Spice Cam will have had over 5 million views by sometime today. I think that is simply amazing! Many thanks to Ruth, Ron, and their team!

With a lot more money, and time, I would love to spent about three, or four, weeks in the Grenadines.

At least one of those fish needs a caption with something funny to say.

Margo, I liked Ivan's, and on another day I might have liked the Soggy Dollar. There just seemed to be one boat load of spoiled brats after another the day I was there. Honestly, if I make it back to STJ again I doubt that I would take a day trip to the BVI's unless I was able to pull off either a w...

Everybody should do the Smoothie stand twice. Yep, twice. The second time will certainly reinforce your thought that you paid a lot of money the first time. Liamsaunt, I agree with most of your overrated except Miss Vie's. Just my opinion, but I think of her food as being one of the most reasonably ...

The Southern tip of NJ - Cape May -- totally walkable - more good restaurants than you can eat at in 4 days - many are small BYOB, you can go to some great wine stores and have some fine food and good wine for a fair price - architecturally interesting town with over 500 historic homes of the Victo...

Most overrated? Without question for me would be the snorkel trail at Trunk Bay. The best thing about it is that it keeps the masses from the cruise ships mostly in one place. I, like PA Girl, was pretty underwelmed by our White Bay experience. When Windsome and Mic asked me what I thought of the ba...

JT - is the Jubal Early still running? I do the same thing on the Hill as I bike everywhere. Litter goes out the window, I stop and pick it up, chase down the offender, then ask if it's ok to come to their neighborhood and toss out my garbage...risky behaivor in the city. Yes, Chet, the ferry is st...

Or maybe take the short walk up to the ruins at the far end of the beach. Yep, I sure wish I was there, but aren't pictures wonderful memory boosters? <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/12829989@N00/4644637193/" title="little lameshure by taterjoes, on Flickr"><img src="h...
