Fun and descriptive trip report. Thank you!! The "rhymes with got wieners" is priceless.

Hey, my hubby and I don't ever recall free rum punch at the STT airport. Where the heck is it??? :? We'll be looking for it in a few weeks.

Thanks, Mary Beth. I'm thinking it makes sense to make reservations, just in case. (BTW, that bird is my beloved Spike...he's a teenager--17--and made the big move from NJ to CA with me 15 years ago!!)

Tried Shrink Pix for Avatar...

and was wondering if it worked. Also, I selfishly wanted to see the count-down on my ticker. 8) STJ is only weeks away. A question for everybody...should we make reservations now (or soon) for dinners at the higher end places like ZoZos and Stone Terrace?

Thanks!!!!!

Restaurants

I'm a lurker who doesn't contribute as much as I should but loves the dialog among all of you. Thank you. So helpful...so interesting.

I can't wait to go to Tage (new since my last STJ trip a few years back), but what about ZoZo's?

Villa for 2 couples: Bongo Bongo and more

We're heading to Bongo Bongo (BB) in early December and can provide a first person account. We decided to rent BB after having spent a couple of years following the BB boy's blog, (It was def time to give back!!!!), as well as wanting to stay at a special place. (We were married on STJ in 1997) We s...

Dinghies & Calypso

We've rented from Noah's a couple of times and always had a terrific experience. (They also have the coolest name around!) Cruising around the island and exploring secret snorkle spots is among the top STJ activities on our list. However, we will be going on a Calypso charter (anyone interested in J...

Thanks, all...We'll definitely hit Havana Blue for a drink, though they stop serving food at 10pm (given that our plane lands at 9pm, getting there by 10pm seems impossible). I was told that Shipwreck Tavern, which is in the vicinity, serves food until 2am...

Things we're doing differently

This will be my third trip to STJ, and here are a few things we're doing differently this time. Some have been inspired by advice I found on the Forum! -Renting different, smaller villa (still in same Choc. Hole vicinity of last two) -Bringing only hubby this time (last time we were joined by anothe...

Havana Blue Restaurant?

We're staying one night at Frenchman's Reef prior to heading to STJ and have heard great things about Havana Blue. Someone recently asked about it with few responses. Anyone have any thoughts? It looks awesome. We land at 9pm and are wondering if we'll still be able to access a bar menu by the time ...
