ditto for Francis & Maho. The parking at Francis was unbelievable...all the way to the end of the road then on the paved road. Cars would be trying to leave while some were heading up. It was crazy! There was no room and someone had to back up so the other could move.

We always keep the doors locked. We used to leave the windows partially down until
Vie's chicken decided to get into the car. When we opened the door it laid an egg out of fright!

We purchased a KYSS bag online. We put the chain around two beach chairs and the cooler. If anyone wants to grab & run, they gotta take the other stuff too. The bag also locks the zipper so no one can do a quick unzip and help themselves. I left my ipad in the bag and felt comfortable doing so. :D

Thieves at Cinnamon & Trunk...

Just a reminder to secure your belongings before you enter the water. According to the Tradewinds, thieves hit Trunk and Cinnamon last week. Sometimes we forget when we're in paradise...but what a vacation killer to have your backpacks and beachbags stolen. We were in STJ last week and had a great t...

WiFi at the airport??

After reading about the long lines for Saturday departures, we're planning to get there xtra early when our visit to STJ is over. I'm hoping to use my ipad to kill some time. Anyone know if that's possible? 5 more days....cannot wait! :D

We've stayed at Cielo Vista three times. Great location off Gifft Hill Rd. One bed accessed from outside screened porch, one from off kitchen inside.
Nice views, clean, the owner is there in the apartment downstairs part of the year. I would be
happy to answer any questions you have. 8)

Have to agree with Knolmom. When I spoke of the driveway I was actually referring to the road. It was extremely rutted with deep holes when we were there. It got old very fast and we only rented it twice. I worried about breaking an axle or getting a flat. It's pitch dark at night and the thought of...

Last time we stayed at Sago, the driveway was the issue not the location of the villa. The driveway is right off Centerline Road next to Paradise Lumber, but not paved and no lights.
House is great.

I chose to do a rather unflattering review once. I had hoped the management company, or better yet the owners, would read it. I tried to be fair but at the same time didn't want to candy coat the truth. I look at reviews all the time and appreciate honest opinions. There are certain things you can't...

We bought a Kyss bag for our last trip. We liked it alot and highly recommend it. We snorkeled at Maho early one morning...not a soul around for an hour...and we had complete confidence that our belongings were safe. Not only did we use the chain to attach the chairs and cooler to the bag, we were a...

We rent exclusively from Penns so I'm familiar with their vehicles. They rent Jeep Liberty 4DR 4WD SUV's.
$90.00 a day and parking in their lot whenever you need to.

Wasn't sure I'd enjoy The Help. Loved the author's style of writing....now I can't wait to see the movie. (something I don't usually do since they always ruin the story) I'll have to check out The Blue Orchard.

Connie I second that! We're in Wildwood Crest, the most southern part of the Wildwoods. We have no boardwalk and I have the entrance to the beach at the end of my street. The island is only 5 blocks wide so we've got the bay and the ocean. My 87 yr old mother says it's "too quiet." :D :D
