any experience with flip camera?

I'm considering buying a flip camera for our trip to STJ in June and I just found out you can buy an underwater housing for 2 of their models. Does anyone own one of the cameras/underwater housings? Are they as easy to use as they claim?

We loved Cinnamon Tarn - northshore views, huge hot tub that for a 10 year old would seem like a pool, decent road, breezes, and did I mention the VIEW!

We always visit R&I Patton in Mongoose while we are on St John. Their charms are made from molds using baby shells, etc. I've never seen anything like them before and we always bring a few back home with us.

Is it practical/possible to rent a dinghy for 6 adults? Or would it be too crowded?
Our 2 daughters are bringing their boyfriends this year and I thought it might be fun to rent a dinghy for the day.

My experience in Scottsdale has been that the area is extremely dependent upon having a car. You should probably talk to your hotel to see if they have a shuttle, as I've stayed in many different hotels in the Scottsdale/Phoenix and none of them have had a shuttle, even to the airport. We have alway...

Our daughters (ages 18 and 26) won't even let us entertain the thought of going to St John without them!! Our 8th trip will be this June and this year includes the boyfriend of our older daughter. It's one week where the everyday distractions are gone and we can just enjoy the island and each other'...

Going to Disney in the fall should mean smaller crowds and lower prices in general. Our family loves the Wilderness Lodge. I hear there is an new addition to the Contemporary Resort that is nice. We were going to do a trip there in June, but after looking at costs and thinking about the crowds, we'v...

We stayed at Cinnamon Tarn 2 years ago and the road to that villa is pretty good. No turns, and not steep to that point. We found it to be a convenient location to drive to Cruz Bay or Coral Bay. Plus, the views are amazing!!

After many ruined manicures while on vacation, we have found that the polish on our toes stays put, but on our hands, it doesn't. Our non-scientific opinion is that sunscreen is the problem, not salt water. Sometimes topcoat gets sticky after applying sunscreen. Hope this helps!

I, also, would love to buy a copy of the newly printed book. A friend of mine, who lived on the island in the 1960s and 70s, knew Ethel and would love one also. Her old copy of the book (which she loaned me) has a few notes and invitations dating back to their time on-island, which Ethel sent them. ...
