Fantastic report and pictures. The videos are also great. I have never seen an octopus, much less one feeding. I try to look when I dive and snorkel, but obviously not good enough. Good find also with the checkered puffer, scorpionfish and mantis shrimp. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to the ne...

Thanks again all. We'll definitely be renting a car. I also think we'll be better off south west or the Keys. We have enough frost at home :). I will check the links iProf. Minde, Lido beach resort looks great and is definitely on my list. And so is Sanibel/Captiva. Maybe Marco. We've been two times...

Thanks Janet, it looks very nice where you stayed. I think we would like it there. I'm just not ready to book anything, as my ff tickets are possible to change for $20, so I'm kind of waiting to see if there will be other dates available except Thanksgiving. Floridagirl, Islamorada and the Keys are ...

Thanks Janet! I was also thinking about Marco island. Never been there. It's a bummer with Thanksgiving for us, as we don't celebrate that and it will only mean crowds and higher rates, but I checked availibility every day in November for ff flights, and these dates were the only possible. Maybe we ...

Florida in November
Hi! Just managed to use my frequent flyer miles on a flight from Stockholm to Washington (in business class :D ). This is from Nov 16-25. We were thinking about staying a couple of nights in Washington and then fly down to Florida someplace for 5-6 nights. Now comes the tricky part, I don't know whe...

Thanks for the report and your pictures are great as always! This bring back memories from our honemoon, which was spent in Kauai (Poipu). We went in June, so we were able to do the napali coast zodiak trip. Still remember the high swells. Even in Poipu it was high swells. Still, it was amazingly be...

I love my G11 too. Like you said Becky, it's great both above and underwater. Sometimes I think those uw cameras (lie the D10) is a bit of a compromize when it comes to quality of the pictures. It's VERY handy and easy when snorkeling but it doesn't take nearly as good pictures as the G12. We have a...
