It's my favorite secret villa! Ok, it's Le Chateau in Catherineburg. You owe me a Painkiller  It's my favorite place in the world. We were married there and when our daughter was 5 months old we returned there for her baptism. They don't take children between 8 months and 8 years. I think she'...

Yea!!!! I have tears of happiness for you. Thanks for the update. On a different note, I saw a bottle of Flip Flop wine in the store. I've never seen it before. Maybe I'll get one and toast your great news!

The view from the villa deck. It's my wallpaper so I can always remember there really is a place that looks like this to hang out for coffee in the morning, cocktails, etc. The view never ceases to amaze me. It's my little piece of heaven. http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r154/heather59/FH000040.j...

I was married at a villa in St. John. It was just 4 people and Anne-Marie. We then went for a sail and a dinner in town. It was a very small ceremony. Very quiet and very meaningful. We had our daughter baptised at this same villa a couple of years later. That villa is a part of our history and in o...

MLS - thank you! Are you with Town & Country Realty? That was really nice of you as I looked at the image on the forum and loved it, but thought the one I had seen in the office looked more detailed. I just sent an e-mail to the contact you gave me. Of course I had already ordered the one shown ...

Satellite Photo of St. John

There is a great satellite photo of STJ hanging in the Town and Country's real estate office in Mongoose Junction. I would love to have one for my husband's birthday, but have had no luck finding it with Google or the real estate office. Any ideas?

Hope is one of the best things of all. So good to hear from you that you had a positive news with your baby boy's lungs. Thanks so much for the update. Those ultrasounds and calls with test results are always so scary. I always think of the quote from Winston Churchill "....when you're going th...

An idea might be to rent 2 villas w/i walking distance of each other. You have a little more room and privacy, can take turns hosting the gang, 2 pools, 2 washer/dryers, etc. A good choice if available is Cara Mia and Golden Dragon. I think they're different rental agents. My personal choice would b...

First of all how are you doing? I say a little prayer for you every day. As for the ff miles, I've done this with USAir. It costs $75 (may have gone to $100) to cancel and redeposit the miles to your account. I believe though you can just change the dates at no charge for anytime the seats are offer...

Most of the villas rent by the amount of people/bedrooms. Check with your agency, maybe you can stay at the same one at a lower rate.

Having been through the ultrasounds, waiting and worrying until the next appt., the ups and downs of a scary pregnancy, my heart goes out to you. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. The worst thing is to keep looking up the and wading through the vast spectrum of information and misi...
