Re: Coral Bay Marina Update

Resubmitted my previous letter as well -- I'm worried that the larger outcry from the earlier effort won't carry through on this second phase, because people think that the danger has passed :(

Any way we can get the word out more widely?

Re: Splitting a Trip Between 2 Villas?

Hey there! We did it once (for 12 days, split 5/7), and we'd do it again if the combo was right...as others have said, it's a great way to try out a new villa (or two), or a new neighborhood! The switch day wasn't too bad for us, although the evening before the 'move' was a bit less relaxing than us...

Re: Survey: power outages during your stay(s)?

Thanks for the input, all! We're pretty laid back and really don't mind the enforced peace and quiet that the outages bring! we were mainly just wondering if we could expect it every single night, since this has been much more frequent than we've experienced in the past. Really appreciate all of the...

Survey: power outages during your stay(s)?

Good morning, all! Curious about your experiences with power outages? In our past eight trips, we've experienced about three minor power outages combined, but on this trip we've had four outages in three days, with one of them being over 4 hours! What has your experience been? Is this closer to norm...

Re: Summers End Group grant has been cancelled

mls10, I was wondering the same thing -- I was thinking that it might be to give the dept some sort of say in the project, and give it some leverage in order to protect its interests? Basically, if a project has a chance of moving forward, they figure that they might as well be involved somehow. It ...

Re: Possible VRBO scam

I think you'll be fine -- I did a Google search of that phone number, and found another house that she manages; the VRBO listing for that house features some positive reviews that mention her as a good and reliable property manager: http://www.vrbo.com/406532 I've found that different property manag...

I am! I'll keep an eye out over there.

Didn't mean to pressure you, I'm just in severe STJ withdrawal, and you know how that goes :)

Ahhh that photo is helping me ignore the snow, Becky! Thank you :) Safe travels and have a wonderful trip!

Please post DAILY trip reports (or at least photos!) to help those of us stuck back in the tundra (more snow coming Sun/Mon/Tues).....

VIOL = my antidote for these crazy piles of snow. You too?

Who else is clicking on the forum obsessively to counteract the oppressive piles of snow outside?

I'm in Boston, and we just got an entire winter's worth of snow in less than a week.

VIOL and Spice cam, take me awayyyy..........

Re: Army Corps comment period, 2 days left

Sent! Easy to do, took 15 minutes, wrote what was in my heart. No right or wrong way, really, as long as you stay polite and on point -- just writing the letter is important! Don't put it off...just send something! And then when this silly project gets denied, you can say that you did your part to h...
