They plan to be adding lunch service very shortly, but have not heard of any plans to include breakfast. Since they are Rhumblines folks perhaps Sunday brunch may be in their future plans!lprof wrote:wonder if the Indigo Grill will be serving breakfast???

Re: Must try restaurants???
Indigo Grill is so new that you may not see any formal reviews for the place just yet. They are still getting their feet wet, but our first impressions were very favorable. Nice casual atmosphere, and a (for now) limited menu, but everything we had was very good. You can get pizza to go or at the ba...

End of an era on St. John (Palm Tree Charters sold)
Captain John Brandi announced on the Palm Tree Charters Facebook page that health problems are precluding him from continuing and that he has sold Palm Tree Charters to Captain Jimmy and Bridgett. First and foremost we want to extend our best wishes for continued improved health, but would be remiss...

Forum/Peeps Beach Day @ Maho Friday 10/31
Since there seem to be a good number of folks that are/will be on island this week we're going to invite one and all to come play at Maho on Friday as a warm up for the Halloween festivities later. Eagle Ray Lover and myself plan to be there by around 9:30 or so and will set up near the far right si...

I believe you can buy a monthly ticket book for the Cruz Bay - Red Hook ferry is you are a USVI resident, but that's all I've heard of in that area.

Rain on and off in Coral Bay, and the same with wind (cooling breezes!).
But as Bill Murray's character in Caddyshack said "I don't think the heavy stuff's gonna come down for quite awhile".
Expecting a blustery morning, from well before dawn to well after...

You know, I know a guy that went to Waterlemon Cay one time and he said the snorkeling stunk.
I know another guy that went to Cruz Bay to snorkel and he said it was awesome!
If I ever get down there I know where I'm going...

I really enjoyed meeting you and Evan during your visit. I wish we could have spent more time together, but we will work on that ahead of your next visit! As always, your words and images do a great job of conveying your love of this beautiful place!

Re: Palm tree charters
For the first stop we've also done Henley Cay and Mary Point, as alternatives to Leinster or Lovango. Figure out - and let Captain John know, about how long you like to stay in the water on your snorkel stops. After our first trip with him he suggested that we pack a lunch rather than make a lunch s...

There are now two gas stations on the island, and both of them are on your way "to town" - just past the St. John Market (the closest grocery store to you, and owned by the same folks as Dolphin Market) is the new Racetrack gas station, and about a half mile or so further down the road the...

Re: Pick up spot at the dock
There are a couple of spots in front of St. John Spice where you can load/unload, or, as Rick pointed out, if you can carry/roll them, High Tide is a great option! Right after a ferry unloads it's a chaotic scene by the dock - especially if it's full of cruise ship passengers (not likely for your ti...

I'm so glad that we got to see you while you were here, and that you are feeling better. We hope to be able to spend some more time with you when you're here with "the invasion" in July!
Thanks for all of the verbal and visual reminders of what a wonderful place STJ is!
