http://www.freebirdcreations.com/braceletbeads.html Freebird Creations has these types of charms. They are close to the ferry dock in Cruz Bay. There are a bunch of unique jewelry places in Cruz, either at Wharfside area or Mongoose. I also like Shae Designs, which I think changed names to Bamboo so...

We will be there Aug 4-11, so maybe we will cross paths at the airport! Me, my hubby and 13 yr old son and 11 (she will be 12 then) yr old daughter. If anyone wants to share a charter (Palm Tree; Capn John) to the Baths and JVD - - let me know!

How about Wyndham Sugar Bay in STT? They are A.I. with a lot of activities for kids/teenagers. That way you'll be a ferry ride away from STJ for a quick fix...or two! Other places that might fit the bill - Bahamas (H2O is very similar to that on STJ), Aruba (lots to do on 7 mi beach). I think most o...

Is there a place on STJ with showers besides Trunk?

So, we are not fortunate enough to snag a villa on STJ in August. We are opting for the "free" route using points at the Marriott STT :P. So my question is... We will be trekking it over to STJ on the ferry for day trips to all the great beaches. I know there are showers at Trunk, but if w...

Gees you guys are MEAN! We only have 3.5 inches of the white crap here in St. Louis. I feel lucky. Hey Capn John, we'll be calling you for our next day trip in August. It won't be as eventful as my 40th last year  but not much would be! Still have the remnants of a bruise from the Willie T ju...

To add to the list: On your way to/from (I suggest both  ) Magen's Bay, stop at Udder Delight for a rum milkshake. AWESOME hidden gem. For a great view of Yacht Harbor at night, a wonderful breeze and some nice greasy pizza -- try Island Time Pub at American Yacht Harbor, Red Hook. 2nd floor. A...

Agree with the Wed-Wed fares. Just booked mine for August through AA at $500/pp, which isn't bad for St. Louis (also land-locked :( ) My other suggestion is to take advantage of the credit cards offered by American or others that will give you 30K points with your first purchase. It's nearly enough ...

Yeah. You should have heard the venom in my kids' voices this past August when we called from the VI to check in on them at hte grandparents house  . So we booked a trip for August with the whole family. They are much happier now...or as happy as pre-teens can be  . I told hubby last week...

Diana2 - Bamboo Studios is in the heart of Cruz Bay in Wharfside Village. The website link is below, apparently they haven't yet updated for the new name. It's a great little store with unique pieces that aren't too pricey!
