Villa Sibella

Wondering about the downstairs bedrooms. Were they furnished as well as the upstairs, and did they have sufficient light? How was the view from the downstairs bedrooms patios? This villa was on our short list but when we called Caribbean Villas in early March, they said they were not renting it yet ...

St John Honeymoon

We were married by Rev Anne Marie on St John in May of 2000 at the Villa 2B Peter Bay. We had been visiting St John since 1995, always with a group, and in 1998, while at Cinnamon Tarn Villa, we decided that if and when we got married, St John would be the place--and the north shore would be the loc...

MaryBeth They do the sunset cruise on both the Hinkley sailboat and the ferry. The sailboat was very pricey and it only takes 6. It seemed to be very popular with the honeymooners. The ferry was a lot of fun- it attracted a very well babanced group of couples and families and, unfortunately, 2 older...

We loved the activities at Caneel Bay, and we really enjoyed the managers cocktail party. They had a great steel band playing and we went upstairs to the bridge over the veranda to watch the sunset. Who did we find sitting up there all alone enjoying a glass of wine but Mario Batali. We had a brief ...

What a great idea! I would be happy to help you with the North Shore portion, as we have stayed up in Catherineberg a lot.

Guess where ........NEXT WEEK

For those of you who want the same view as Rapture, but not the cost---just rent Villa Capiz. It is directly above Rapture. Villa Capiz upper and lower deck look directly down on Rapture's pool, its driveway and the living room, however, you can not be seen by the folks staying at Rapture unless you...

New Villas

We usually get to St John at least once a year, most years we go twice. We are now planning our fall trip. This year we will be traveling with two other couples, and both of the women are a little, well,"high maintenance" I would call it. One requires a king bed and a bathroom with a batht...

Hale Lani

About a month ago I spoke to someone at Destination St John about this villa as we were thinking of renting it this summer or fall. They told me it was an islamd style house and not a new villa. The owners used it themselves for five years and have now decided to rent it. They said it is very nice, ...

If not Mar des Amores what then

I had suggested Cinnamon Tarn through Vacation Vistas( Lisa Durgin) and also Viewtiful through Private Homes. Our daughter fell in love with it 2 years ago when she went for a week with her fiancee. Anyone else have experience with Viewtiful?

Honeymoon Villa

We have been renting villas on St John for over 10 years and I would like to add a little perspective to your search for a honeymoon villa and just maybe a little word of caution about the villa you seem to really like. There are many many small villas for rent on St John, other than the one you are...

Lavender Hill or Villa

I did not see your initial post so I do not know whether this is your first trip to STT/STJ. I definately recommend a villa for a family vacation but I do not know how comfortable you will be with the driving. You might want to consider Allessandra or Perelandra because of the easy drive to the beac...
