Capt. Dan & Ruby: That's the catamaran we were on when we were waving to you at Lovango!! It was a great day...Loved that we went to Jost but skipped Foxxy's. Also set anchor at Sandy Cay and enjoyed the beach for about 1/2 hr. Different itinerary than our past day sails. Great for repeaters to ...

PA Girl....Ah yes, San Juan airport. If my memory serves me correctly weren't we on the same flight where the landing gear wouldn't retract and we made an emergency landing? That was years ago but I still remember spinning wheels that night till a new plane rescued us. We did get back to San Juan fo...

Marybeth I also bought a bottle of Orangecello. Not a large sum of $$ spent but I did expect some sort of a lower price than home.

Liquor Prices a bargain????

I am totally confused. I bought a 750 ml bottle of Patron Anejo Tequila at the STT airport for $49.00. I've seen it at Costco and a local liquor store for the same price!! My hubby said it's not worth lugging it on the plane and I argued with him and bought it anyway. Maybe rum is the best deal....d...

I second Penns. Been using them exclusively for years. Their vehicles are always clean and in good
running condition. The parking lot is extremely convenient and plenty of room. :D :D

Help!! Need dinner ideas

Love entertaining at the shore but my old standbys are getting old. The guys love to "rub antlers" by the bbq but I'm looking for something different. I have a recipe for a seafood lasagne with a bechemel sauce but haven't tried it. I've done stuffed flounder, grilled tuna, seafood marinar...

Just returned from a stay at Gifft Hill. We like the location for getting into town by going down Gifft Hill Road. Coral Bay and Francis/Maho...up Gifft Hill Road and right onto Centerline. The views from our villa (Cielo Vista) were fabulous and at night the twinkling lights from St Thomas are beau...

We've been going to St John in February for years. The weather is good...mostly rains at night. The pool and ocean water is cooler than this time of year. Having just gotten back from a trip last Sunday I can say it's more crowded in winter. If you're going to be on the island Feb 14th--Valentine's ...
