Having walked (involuntarily) all the way up Seagrape Hill Road I can attest that it is in FINE condition. Thanks again LMG. ;-) :) Love ya, Flippy! Sea Grape Hill road is probably one of the best paved driveways on STJ- not even bad in the rain. Also, by car or foot, a really good (bad?) way to sc...

Thanks for the report! I do enjoy seeing/reading how differently people spend their days. I particularly loved your recount of the day with Captain Phil and Tarn-- special people.

My favorite quote, however, was "Thank the Maker for Deli Grotto." Indeed.

On several occasions I have the blessing of being able to stay with friends or to dog sit, so that has made me pretty much despise villa searches. (I suppose that is code for lazy.) So now when I want to plan a group trip I call on the few villas I've actually seen in person and beg to rent them. If...

Just read 1, 2, & 3! What a nice day to decide to catch up on the forum. :) Great pictures and reporting-- no one's food ever looks as good as yours around here, even just barbecue.

Thanks, Becky!

There's really nothing to be said that hasn't but as someone who's stayed at Ivan's a couple times, once just a month ago, I must remind you to please, PLEASE remember to seal your food and then put it in the refrigerator or another sealed place (cooler) in the cabin. We did this but unfortunately t...

Oh yeah sports photography is VERY hard and no way to watch a game. I've been photographing kids' tee ball and baseball this summer, and it is harder than I thought, harder than any other event I've ever tried to photograph (amateurly) or assisted on. HARD. I had to ask the kids at the end of the g...

Oh, that is definitely something I overlooked. I wouldn't go for that, either.

Nonetheless, if anyone has stayed there, I'd like to know what you think.

Villa info- Over the Rainbow

Just doing some general villa research, something I'm not really accustomed to. Any opinions/reviews/recent stays at Over the Rainbow in the Reef Bay area? http://www.caribbeanvilla.com/overain/overain.html It looks dated, but dated isn't necessarily saying bad or falling apart. Opinions appr...

I am sure this has been mentioned many times here, but I just finished The Help and thought it was fantastic. I am tempted to read it again, and I've only done that with two other books in my life. That good, from my perspective. Due to family and personal history I might have related to the book mo...

I cannot stand chocolate.

I love the scent of the inside of an ice rink, particularly if the zamboni is running.
