Xislamdgirl - You really want to know why I choose to rent a villa? Lol. It's not so I can make a sandwich (which I do every night before I have to go to work). It's so that I can lie naked on the deck.

Xislandgirl - Here is what I'm confused about: Do you honestly believe I don't know that I COULD make a sandwich in the villa??? I was asking something else though...

Chris@Work - We bought that sandwich twice last time we were on St. John. Loved it!

Not us. After the beach we'll go to the villa for drinks, maybe some cheese and crackers, a little hot tub time, etc., and then we'll get cleaned up and head out to eat. I'm not cooking on vacation!

I always use insuremytrip.com. It enables you to compare different policies from different companies. Just pay attention to stuff you care about. Aside from basic cancellation due to medical etc., I care about medical evacuation costs and trip delays due to weather (we fly out of a snowy place). Any...

Grande Bay's Fractional Ownership Program

I just wondered if anybody on here knows anything about this program, or has an opinion about it. Thank you!

It's not clear that the Feds will consider fair market price for the renewal of the Caneel lease (beyond 2023). It seems to me that if the lease holder refuses to honor the public access requirement then they should not receive a lease extension. In fact, if there isn't going to be public access, pe...

LisaRex - We also prefer the outboard motor dinghy (from Noah's Little Arks) because we prefer to beach the dinghy. It's not as comfy as the center console though (they can not be beached). I don't know about the center console ones, but the regular dinghy is VERY difficult to get back in if you jum...
