I was there that same week - there were 6 couples and we did just about everything in the rain! Swimming while drinking was a challenge - had to have a hat with a bill (or wide brim)on it so as not to dilute the good stuff!

Last November when we were in St. John, we had talked to a lady who was manning the Westin "Hut" close to wharfside. We almost signed up for a tour but it was our last day and I just didn't want to spent 90 minutes that way - that being said, she upped the Sand Dollar amount to $325+ and I...

I have stayed at Viridian Garden 3 times - twice in the March timeframe and once in November. We had anywhere from 6 to 8 adults (3-4 couples). I actually enjoyed both the villa and the location. It is dated, and the one bedroom did NOT have AC. We typically did not stay at the villa during the day ...

Shipwreck Landing

Thanks everyone for the update! We always like to try new places (and drinks) on our trips and enjoy meeting new folks. Hope to see many of you there when we are "on-island." We also have some "newbies" coming in halfway into our trip, it's always fun to acquaint them with St. Jo...

Shipwreck Landing

Anyone have an update on when Shipwreck Landing will open? I thought I saw November 4th? I might be wrong. My Ohio group really likes to stop at Shipwreck to quench their thirst :D after a day at the beach. Also - any more updates on Island Blues? (another favorite!)

There will be six of us from the Ohio area - no Newbies - all have several St. John trips (and bushwackers) under their belt! Hope to meet all of you while on-island.

One Night Stay

Any suggestions where a group of 4-6 can stay for one night on St. John? Our group has a villa October 26th - November 9th. I found great airfare today (Detroit - St. Thomas) for $427, if we leave on Saturday. I really DON'T want to pay the outrageous one night stay at the Westin - tried Cruz Views,...
