I agree with the Tuna Down Now at the Beach Bar. Yum! And this may sound goofy, but the Greek Salad with Chicken from the Banana Deck is something I look forward to every time we are on St John.

Thanks for all the great feedback. We will be there in November for three nights and then back to St John for a few more nights. I won the ACC auction for a couple nights at Gallows, so…….., I had to build from there.

Has anyone stayed at the Sandcastle on Jost recently? What was your experience? We are thinking of dividing our November trip between Jost and St John. Thanks in advance for any info.

We enjoy the ferry. Lately we've chartered a boat but I enjoy walking around after getting off the ferry.

We will be there the 13th. The 15th is our 12th anniversary and we have been on St John every June 15th since 2002. When we are feeling blue or flush with money, sometimes you will catch us there in November as well. Happy anniversary to all.

Da Livio, across from the Lime Inn, has fantastic Italian food. The wait staff can be kind of meh, but the food makes up for it. My favorite Italian on the island.

We rent from SJCR all the time. They used to email a rental form to fill out but now I just print it from their site. I mail the form along with a deposit check. I know when the check clears that they have it. I don't think they have sent me confirmations in the past but I have never had a problem. ...

Can't live without my Kindle on St John (or anywhere, really). But, you can read to your heart's content on the beach with no sunglare at all.
