Time change
Well, we leapt forward one hour, and all my husband said was, "Good, now we're on St. John time." One year he didn't change the time on his watch through the winter, so that he could always be on St. John time.
Somehow it brings us closer...

Support for Thomas
I feel that I must speak up for Thomas of Hospitality Car Rental. This is a great guy who runs a small business and is surely as much of a victim as you are. If he's told that he's liable for your $1000 ticket, then he must charge you. We found Thomas to be helpful, warm, fair-priced and he went out...

Not to complicate your decision making, but have you looked at Orion's Hill? It's a new two bedroom house on Ajax Peak. It has phenomenal views and seems like a good layout for a young child (interior staircase), two living rooms, etc. We saw it from a distance, looks beautiful. The location is incr...

Since no one else has replied, I'll offer the knowledge I have. We stayed next door to Casa Luna at Skyridge and we have friends who stayed at Casa Luna. Our friends loved Casa Luna. They said it was beautiful, comfortable and there are decks with views facing every direction. The pool is also separ...

Notre Ciel
Yes, I would say that 15-20 minutes is accurate. Keep in mind, however, that driving at night on St. John takes real concentration. The roads are very curvy, narrow and dark. It's not a problem if you take your time.

Notre Ciel
Notre Ciel would be a great choice for your crew. The 18 year old could have the loft which is large, and he wouldn't need to sleep on a sofa. The house is very comfortable, the views are stunningly beautiful and you'll enjoy the pool and hot tub (with the same magnificent views). We loved the locat...

Try e-mailing again. We've used Bookit twice and were very happy with them. Once I seem to remember their internet service being down and it taking them a few days to get back to us. Christine handled our booking last summer and we met her when we arrived on island. She's lovely. Good luck in your s...

Congratulations! We did the same thing in August. Booked the flights and villa a week before we arrived. The spontaneity made it even more special to the whole family, because of the surprise and delight that we had actually made it! I would suggest calling Thomas at Hospitality Car Rental at 340-69...

We had friends who stayed there twice before it was renovated and new bedrooms, pool, etc. were put it. It's a beautiful house, great location and view. Don't know if you could fit 12. I also noticed on the Windspree website that they only want children over the age of 13. I'd suggest calling Windsp...

What about looking for two villas on Carolina Ridge, since you're interested in Coral Bay? There are some wonderful houses on Majestic Mile...Casa Luna, Skyridge, Villa Margharita, Sea Glass, In the Stars, Luminaria, Satinwood, Treehouse and more I can't think of. Another idea would be to look at Pa...

We stayed at Notre Ciel for two weeks in August and loved it. I think it would be an excellent villa for children because it is so self contained and the pool is gated. The view is unbelievable, the breezes divine. Also the loft has a single, a double and a small crib. It's also quite spacious. The ...
