everything continues as normal at low key for the time being... and would expect to continue for some time as the legal situation works itself out. i don't know the details firmly but my understanding is that bob & his ex still own the biz together as they have done for the last 20+ years as th...

I heard there was a raid at Low Key. That might be accurate. I am pretty sure Bob Shinners is the owner of low key and he was one of the people listed on the FBI arrest. I wonder how this will affect the people who work at low key. If I remember right, Bob had a partner at Low Key, a woman named El...

And as an added aside. There are many beach vendors and they can get very annoying. The trick is to just say NO. It's the same in Spanish. Don't be curious to what they are selling. Show no interest at all. They will walk on. Also if I remember correctly up in the Cancun area, the city/town of Cancu...

You might want to try Balongo Beach. They aren't cottages but they are right on the beach. Would think they might rent for three days.

Also Cowpet has some condos right on the beach as does Saphire Beach. Again, not cottages but right on the beach

Actually I believe the area is very safe other than the crap that goes with being in a heavy tourist area. I understood that the governor of Quintan Roo intends to keep it that way. A life long friend of mine's daughter has lived in Playa for about three years with a one and half year old daughter a...

seems to me it would be pretty hard to close down the VINP. Maybe the Admin bldg and the guided trails. But you could no doubt get into Trunk without paying a fee.

FWIW, I've always thought that arriving at the Baths from the hill walking down and going through the big 'stones' to the beach makes a much more dramatic impression. Can't remember which boats do it that way.

I'd like to suggest the Crystal Palace and the ever popular Ronnie Lockhart. He'll make that transition work.

Calgirl, such a great idea that I might have to do another project of scanning slides and scanning pix. Should have a few.

And if Ronnie reads this, shall I post all of those from the beach picnic at Magen's in '01. I think not, lol

Gidget, unfortunately you describe about 85 pct of those in Hollywood. The difference with Sheen is that his bad habits make him within the top 1 pct.

My guess is that he's toast. Hollywood eats their own and do not like this at all. No publicist now to help him out.

I certainly can't say whether it will be down by then but for the sake of the vendors that take advantage of Carnival, I certainly hope it does. The park is loaded with many good vendors and I can imagine it would be a source of irritation if it isn't down.

Calistoga is a nice little town, BUT I think for purposes of centrality, I'd stay nearer to Napa. You'll have quicker access to the Sonoma area, which I like to say is just around the corner. I know it's not a B&B but you might try Embassy Suites in Napa. They usually have great rates and you ge...
