Just an fyi - none of the credit card bennies cover you for liability - only for some bits of damage and loss of use for the rental company. Not even the Amex policy that you pay additional for will cover you for liability.

It's really hard to do STX in just a week, let alone a day. Too much time traveling back and forth, too, and the ferry is just awful, as described. Seaplane if you must, but agree that STX is best left for a separate trip. I'd do STJ and Jost and some snorkeling in between.
