Big Maho if you like to see Hawksbill turtles. Go to the right facing the bay for the turtles. I have seen eels and octopus there as well. We have seen a spotted ray there too. It is an easy snorkel too.

Seriously....

If you are going to explore the island...I am not sure you would make some of the switchbacks on a moped...you need 4 wheel drive, especially if you get a bit of rain.

Maho Sites

Can any of you suggest the best sites with a view!!! Or if anyone has a Maho Bay tent map, they would scan and email to me, that would work too. I thought I had one but cannot find it. I stayed there many years ago and would like to take my girls. Not sure how that is going to work since for the pas...

If you really want clothing optional, all day and night, try Sea Spirit. No pool, but a great deal of privacy, it is in no mans land near Kiddel Bay.

Stayed there and loved it, the furnishings are not posh, but the location is GREAT for 2 who want to get away from it all.

I am actually looking at next July.

And to STJ-lovin' Aggie, we stayed once in Great Cruz Bay. There seemed to be too much light at night for us and we heard the music from the Westin. We like it darker and quiet at night.

The day we missed our connection, it was also an early morning flight. The weather was beautiful all over the country so we do not know what happened they never let us know and were not too kind to us either. I am sure it does not happen often but to miss just one day of vacation and have to spend i...

Please give me your vote for the Best 4 BR Villa

Okay, I am looking for the best 4 BR villa, Here are my criteria. All locations except Chocolate Hole, Great Cruz Bay or Fish Bay. At least one of the BRs must have AC. A pool would be nice. A view is necessary. Let me know your thoughts! Cost between 3000 - 4500 but would like to stay under 4000 if...

Being from Philly we are stuck taking USAIR a lot. My only advise to you would be DO NOT book if you are connecting through Charlotte! Having read other horror stories on this board and considering I spent the first night of one of my vacations in Charlotte, I would never go through Charlotte again.

Pia-

Cant wait to hear how the trip went. I have always wanted to go there, it would be great to try it on a day trip from STJ. I just hope when I return to STJ the ferry is still running, we will not be returning until next year.

Until then, I will anxiously await your report!

Anthony, The wine we had in Orvietto was Barberani Orvieto Classico Superiore Castagnolo 2006 We did not see it much once we left Orvieto, we found it in a wine store in Cortona, I think, and bought it again. All that stuff about shipping it to my friend in NJ, well I meant my shorehouse...yeah, my ...
