Re: Valentine's Day vow renewal at Trunk Bay

My husband and I participated in the vow renewal last year for our 25th anniversary and it was truly a great experience. Everybody was so friendly and inviting. It is a nice opportunity to make you stop and take the time to appreciate your other half and relationship. Hopefully we will be on island ...

Re: Oddest thing that you pack.....??

My own pillowcase. I also pack ziplock bags of drink mixes, pancake mix, flour, sugar, rice, noodle and brownie mixes and place them into a sealable plastic shoe box then into the suitcase. This keeps them from getting punctured in my suitcase and keeps the bugs and moisture out while at the villa.

Re: Swimming in February

I have gone twice in February and we snorkeled every day for at least an hour every time we went out. You could always get a swimshirt if you feel it is cold but we never had a need for them. As for the pool, I would go with the heated pool if you wish to swim at night. The pool at our villa had ful...

A hot tub is a must for our family. My kids even request one instead of a pool. After being at the beaches all day, there is nothing better than relaxing in a hot tub with a refreshment watching the ships go by and stars. We normally visit Feb-April and the pools are too cold at night which is when ...

We also watched it and heard him mention he learned to make johnny cakes in St John. Hubby says Fatty Crab is a must stop on our next trip. Wonder where he vacationed with his winnings since he lives in our paradise!

After renting on STJ for 3 trips, we rented from Discount on STT last month and will do the same for future trips. Getting around STT was easy and no problems finding the car ferry. It was convenient and cheaper (rental & taxi/ferries) with added savings by stopping at Plaza Extra which was a fu...
