Hi forum friends, I need to ask for some more prayers. I just found out that my brain tumor as reared it's ugly head again at my MRI on Tuesday. I need to go for a Radiation boost and then try a new type of Chemo. I have been undergoing Chemo for the last 8 months with good MRI's to follow but the a...

One good point to pigggy back on, if the baby has any special needs, make sure you bring it with you or ship it ahead. My son needed special formula at the time and I couldn't find it anywhere on St. John, so I had to ferry over to St. Thomas and ride around in a "local" taxi to different ...

We booked our flight as close to his usually nap time as possible and he slept most of the flight. Flight wasn't a problem just the extra stuff you need. My mother in law was a great help with that too.

Did it when my son was 9 months old, he's now 13 and yes, I would do it again. My 16 yr old daughter was harder because she's always bored and missing her friends and what's going on at home. Some will disagree but I took HIS car seat so he sat and slept in something of his in the car, on the plane ...

Jimmy,
I vote for OBX. We like the Whalehead/ Corolla area. Nice beach and more laid back than Ocean City MD but still some Bars/restaurants, fishing and shopping if you want. Good Luck

Just a thought but Best western Carib Beach is across the parking lot from the airport and cheaper than Emerald Beach. If your only using it for 1 night you can wake up, eat breakfast and walk right into the airport. you can still use BW Emerald beach if you want and they had a free shuttle between ...

We also own a week at Sunset Ridge and love it. Sunset Ridge is a group of only six units that share a pool so it's not a big resort like the Westin but has a full kitchen and can sleep up to 8 people with a pull out sofa. We purchased at a very fair price and now that it's paid for we only have to ...

I Agree, hate USair too. Always over priced and make too many schedule changes after purchase but its my closest airport. We have even tried AA out of JFK, CO out of Newark and Spirit out of AC. Air travel sucks anymore, just had a bad experience with Delta last week. I'm thinking of just going back...

We have used avistar and airportparking.com and have no complaints. They both also usually have coupons/discounts if you book online

Chartered boats twice for 3 couples to Jost and had a great time. Took ferry to Tortola last year for a day and while not as fun as Jost still a good side trip. As was already stated, if you like white sand, good food and drink with friendly people, DO IT!
