Someone seriously complained about the wind? Like they can control that! Gotta love how people feel they are entitled to certain things.... I also LOVE 7E... back in the day when we used to get upgraded... glad to hear the changes are for the better. And also good to know about the ocean view rooms....

Bravo!! Another great trip report and photos! What room category is room #2? I was just curious if Caneel feels any different since they are no longer a Rosewood Resort. I read conflicting reports on TA... We haven't been back in several years and hope to return maybe next year.

I would also recommend the Scubadu, however I believe he only sails around St. John now so you may want to check and see if he would go to Jost. Otherwise it is a beautiful cat and Captain Joe is quite the chef. You can see your menu options here: http://www.sailvi.com/html/daysail.htm

Have to agree on October! We used to go in the beginning of the month for our anniversary(the 5th) but prefer to go the last week... Weather seems to be better and more restaurants are reopened. Plus love seeing the Halloween spirit throughout the island... It's great

I use Verizon and for our last trip I called them and changed my plan for international use for the one billing cycle. It was only $40 more and I never had to worry about having my phone on/off, roaming, etc. I just recently got my bill and it was exactly $40 more and that's it. Just an option

Funny just reading your trip report and we were at Francis too on Tuesday, October 27th... and I remember too the people with music. I totally agree playing music loudly annoys me... and then when you have people that like to "shout" to each other over the music is even more annoying.... I...
