Just to add clarity: Rachel is just a landbased taxi service on STT, you still need to take a ferry separate from her...Try her once, you may well get hooked to the extra attention :)

Maho is pure magic and not to be missed, in my mind. Parking should be fine, I've been there high season and in May, never had a problem, just use good logic on where to find an obvious clear spot on the side of the road to park. Rachel is great, and will take you down some shortcuts and play a litt...

Hey Sun, I'll toss in a vote for the Wrangler. I guess it depends on how new the Vitara is; I rented a slightly older vitara and was very nervous driving out to Little Lameshur and had wished I had a rugged jeep! Depends on what kind of driving you want to do, if you think you'll be staying on the m...

Definitely the Reef Bay Hike, with the NPS boat to pick you up at the end is the way to go, relatively easy downhill hike. Rams Head, like others have said, go early, bring lots of water, breathtaking. Hike the Lindpoint Trail as a way of doing a unique beach day and go for Solomon, Honeymoon and se...

I found the cooktop, which is 2 burners inset on the counter, quite easy to cook upon and didn't feel limited in what I made while there. For Beach towels, I chose to do the "pay it forward" thing and bought STJ beach towels at the Concordia store and then just added them to my linen drop ...

Great find! Had no idea, and certainly looks like a great rate per night, not sure if that's in or out of season, either way it looks like a very good value...I wonder if you could do it without a vehicle, almost seems like you could if you're game for hiking around a bit...Thx for the find.

Go to Cafe Matisse, sit outside in the courtyard, at night with the candlelight, it's beaufitul, the food is wonderful, not the cheapest, but a night to remember: http://www.cafe-matisse.com/ If you like to hike, you can sort of get the feel by walking the entire marine park at Atlantis, if you go t...

Your disrespectful nature and condescending remarks/pictures (bu-bye) of George W. Bush are as insulting to me as the term "mulatto" is to you. Why is one more wrong than the other? One is a personal attack, the other is expressing opinion on a non-personal subject. Favoring GW Bush no di...

It's the Club Med ship, one of only two sailing cruise ships I believe. It was there exactly one year ago today, as I had my first STJ trip then - they must have a set schedule of when they cruise the usvi. Nice scene on the webcam, sometimes it really comes through... 8)
