we were there the 2nd week of August last year and we also thought it was unbearably hot! The pool water felt like a spa, and the beach was just too hot. We didn't like that time of year....

we stayed at Bay House, above Aqua Bistro when our kids were......probably 3 and 5. I liked that the pool was not "right outside the bedroom doors" and it was on it's own level. I think it was 2100 in the low season...
