I vote for the Cowpet area-have stayed at the Elysian a few times and enjoyed the accommadations and proximity to Red Hook-( Ferry )
Also close to the Ritz-like to crash their pool

I wonder if they look at the checked bottles ? Sure could use a Cruzan 151 proof on my bar - the price of around 10 $ was amazing. Thanks all-I'll probably be waiting for the car ferry with a drink in my hand 8) I guess that's the gamble I'll take enjoying happy hour and getting the last ferry- Sounds like I'm on a cruise and have to get back to the ship !! :? Anyway-we like to beach hop - and that doesn't work well with a taxi...

Parking and car ferry ???
Are there any parking lots in Cruz Bay-(bringing car from St.Thomas for day) after beach hopping ? We always rented from Courtesy and parked in their lot when we stayed on St.John.Also- how full is the last car ferry :( ??- Staying at BlueBeards Castle this time :) (gift). :o one week and counting.....
