Our last two trips, we've eaten most of our breakfasts at Donkey Diner, but I hear that they are closed... Any suggestions? We like a basic hearty breakfast, nothing foo foo...

It's almost here...
After all the planning and waiting, we're down to the last three days before we leave!! I'm so excited! and so worried that I'm forgetting something! Although I have heard them (by the billions!) at night, I haven't actually SEEN a frog on St. John yet! Maybe this guy will hang around awhile...

There's a new facebook group, Occupy St. John Beaches, they feature lots of pix of people on the beaches yesterday...

Even before this happened we had planned on renting a dinghy to get to some of the beaches we've never seen. We still plan to.
From what I read, boats can pass through park waters, just can't stop...

They certainly did find a way to "ugly up" the island! This is horrible! I feel so bad for everyone who is on island right now. I know how you must feel, looking forward to it all year and then have this happen. Our trip is coming soon and I really hope that all signs of this "closure...
