checking a box of liquids on Delta?

We are going to Caneel in June. We will only have carry on. But. We are thinking of checking a cardboard box of wine, suntan lotion and a few other things. Our thought is it will save us a trip to town to shop and we will have the stuff the first night. We usually don't trust the airlines, but if th...

I finally did get my charge credit. It is a shame that the management was so rude and unhelpful. You would think that during this difficult economic time they would be sensitive to their clients.
We are happy to have a portion of our deposit back, but will NEVER consider staying at Mango Bay again.

I should have know when they would not take american express, that is not a good sign. I phoned Visa and they are looking into it, in my experience they are never as helpful and american express but I am giving it a try.
Thanks for the suggestion.

beware of mango bay virgin gorda

watch out for the cancelation clause from mango bay on virgin gorda. we had to cancel our trip due to no fault of our own with 8 months notice. they kept $300 dollars and one month later we are still waiting for the rest of our deposit. To add insult to injury, after admitting that they did not proc...

Virgin Gorda Adventure and Trip Report

This year's Caribbean adventure was on Virgin Gorda, which we found to be an absolute gem of an island. The beaches are wild, deserted and undamaged. We identified more sea-life than any previous year. The link below is to our web site, which includes a trip report and many pictures from this trip. ...

Hi Gizzmo, We are on Virgin Gorda too. We are at Nail bay and it is fantastic. love the Mine shaft. We rented a dingy at leverick and it was awful, not like st. john at all, the dingy was hard shell and the sea was not calm, we returned it after one hour and the guy was a real creep. The rest of vg ...

Brief Trip Report for stay at Gallows Point Nov/Dec 07

Dear Caribbean Friends, We were at Gallows Point, Unit 3D from November 28 through December 20th. We enjoyed so many of the island's offerings including very many snorkeling adventures. We photographed and identified 114 fish (not counting corals and sponges) which are posted in our website: www.dop...

80 Fish and People too!

Dear Forum Friends, Just uploaded the newest set - now with 80 fish including a great shot of a Spotted Drum! The eels, rays and octopus on a "walkabout" are all avoiding us, but today we are sailing to Hurricane Hole to snorkel the mangroves. Should see some good fish there! Has anyone ev...

To answer some questions
