Not good news but I've read that while definitely something to avoid the Caribbean box jellyfish is not the same as the deadly Australian box jellyfish. Can anyone confirm or refute. Thanks.

We stayed there a few years ago when it was almost brand new and really liked it. We actually stayed there twice. We do not have any photos but the pictures on the website were very accurate. My only concern now would be the Pond Bay development construction site.

Several years ago on Hawksnest I saw a family that had beach chairs which folded up into a round cylindrical bag that looked to be not much more than 6" in diameter and about 14" long. We thought what a great idea for certain occasions.

I had always thought that the rental agencies generally have their homes exterminated monthly to avoid any significant problem developing. Is this not true?

I think a while back someone mentioned that American Airlines said you had to check in at St. Thomas four hours before flight time. Is that correct? We haven't been to St. John for a few years but my recollection is that there's not much in the St. Thommas airport unless it has changed.

I've read the past posts about various car rental agencies but what I was really interested in learning is which one actually has the newest/best condition cars. We are staying in a location this time that really requires a small 4 wheel drive with as much power as possible.
