Connections in Cruz Bay will hold your luggage so that you can spend the day on STJ. I think they chareg $3 per bag per day. We usually do our shopping at that time, get lunch and just hang around Cruz Bay. You could always pack a small bag with a change of clothes and take a taxi to Trunk, spend th...

The cover up sounds fine.

I live in shorts and tanks when on the island, but I do not do the more upscale restaurants!

We found that to be true as well and are bummed because we liked renting from them. Always pleasant to deal with and almost always a place to park. Those Liberty's are a bit more expensive than the little vitara's we rented in the past so this trip we are trying Conrad Sutton!

The Best Sea Life

Hi everyone, fairly new to posting her but you guys just seem like such fun! I was wondering what the votes are for the best sea life areas. My goal each time is to try to see something new. So far here is what I have seen, let me know what else to look for and where. Maho - Turtles (green and hawks...

Yikes! We are staying at Sea Spirit in July! I guess we are staying at the most remote villa on the island? I am sure it will be fine because it is only the two of us and it is our 20th Anniversay but I would like to make it to Cruz Bay a few times. Does anyone know how long that ride will be? It sh...

I don't think you will have any problem with your activities. Point Pleasant is nice but it is really spread out and all over a mountain side. If you are high up the mountain, it is tough getting back and forth to your room, hpe you are in shape. It also pays to have a good sense of direction, on da...

Dreamin' What is your dream!!

Here is my dream -

What do you all think! When I retire, I would like to spend at least one month (hopefully three) on STJ each year. I do not want to live there because I want to keep it a special place to escape.

What are others dreams out there for the future and how STJ fits in.

I agree with Diana2, I have been going to STJ for many years and I like the atmosphere here, I also miss some of the old days here as well, it was even a bit more rustic then. If people want to be pampered there are enough places for them, I like STJ the way it is!!!
