Got to agree with Ed. Hubs insisted on long pants but would never admit he was dying. I wore a sundress and sunset on the rail was overwhelmingly hot. Next time, not on the rail for me, same view but shade! Have fun the food and service was great.

I guess we lucked out big time with some good forum advice. We left Saturday May 2 around 5 PM. Easy taxi ride, carry on only and preprinted boarding and customs papers( thanks Rick for that link). One person in front of us at security, no one at customs! Sat and read a book..easy peasy.

We were at Cruz Views #10 last week and happy to report the grill works. ( two nights other people were grilling , not me!). Plenty of hot water but we never made blender drinks. Got to agree I would have called for sure if something wasn't working.

If you are willing to rent on STJ and you stay at Cruz Views, they have some jeeps to rent. The jeep is parked in the ferry area and you follow them up to CV and sign papers. We had a very new jeep.

The stinging seems to on most Nortn Shore beaches. We both got 1 sting with no reaction. Others itchy welts. Not sure the meat tenderizer will work since there is no visible mark when stung, unless you do a whole body part.

So far so good with 28 days to go. I did pick Charlotte because it was a 90 minute layover instead of philly which was less than an hour. Our plane only has a handleful of seats left.. Should be interesting.
