We just returned from a wonderful 9 days at St. John. Wish we were still there! We stayed at La Jolla Caribe (posted a review) and loved it. The group consisted of my husband (T) and myself (R), our 3 kids (20(Jr), 23 (A) + 25(L)) and our good friend (C). The house worked out great and was perfect f...

We have 5 Oceanmaster dry snorkels and have never had a problem with them. I have used snorkels for years and really prefer the dry snorkel. We also do alot of diving under the water and they work great. We do wash our equipment thouroughly each time we use it.

We want to try a night snorkel while we're here and stopped in at Hurricane Alley to try to book with a woman I spoke to last year, but she doesn't book through them anymore. Any suggestions on who would be a good guide for something like that? Thanks for your help

My reluctance to use the ferry is because of the rude behavior of the people loading and unloading the ferry and the middlemen between the taxi and the ticket booth who want $$$ for moving your luggage 4 feet. It was much more enjoyable to all of us (8 adults) to be greeted by courteous people who w...

We use Christopher Taxi and highly recommend it. He is waiting for you at the airport and it makes everything easy. It's $75 minimum with 5 and $15 for each person over the first 5. We also use Dohm's water taxi and that is also well worth it. Christopher works with Dohm's so you can book them at th...

How about a silicone bahing cap? They come in great colors and they help you stay warm so you can stay in even longer. I teach swimming (in the water on average 8 hours a day) and it does the job well.

We used Dohm's Water taxi and they were great. Christopher's was waiting for us on S. Thomas and took us to Charlotte Amalie for shopping. He took two of the guys to the airport and hooked them up with a porter who put our bags in a safe place, brought the guys back to meet us to shop and then met u...

Private taxi

We used a private taxi last year and it was well worth it. Have booked the same taxi for our trip this year (Christopher Taxi) and the private water taxi. After doing the regular ferry last year, will always opt for this option. I want no hassle on vacation and now I'm old enough that I willing to i...
