Re: Caribbean Villas 5% Service Fee

Thank you for asking about our 5% service charge. I will take this opportunity to answer your question. There are several companies on St. John that do have a 5% service charge. To name a few: Suite St. John, St. John Ultimate Villas, stjohnvillas.us, along with several wholesalers. Other companies...

Lived outside of London for a year back in '91 and recall that it was possible to shoot pix inside Westminster. In fact, I remember doing some photography of historical folks in the crypt area. My wife and I never got tired of taking the train in on Saturdays visiting Harrod's and me spending a few ...

@Peter who traveled through time. 1. That young girl was actually in the RIGHT place at the wrong time. 2. Check your history. The British didn't just show up in '60's. They showed up a long time earlier. Remember Oliver Cromwell. I also don't believe the Irish ever cheered when you claim the Englis...

Not sure how 'flooded' it got, but I have heard that placing the whole unit covered in rice may get the electronics to start working again. My niece did this for her wet cell phone and another niece with her camera.

Haven't tried it but they say it works.

It's hard for me to believe that decriminalization of drugs will help. It just make for more zombie like folks walking around. I have always said that there is a policing problem in the VI's. When you have the local cops having a good chance of being related to the criminal, living in the same area ...

Lulu--I'd appreciate any suggestions Promo--the Vernal/Nevada Falls hike was sounding good to me. September isn't supposed to be a good time for waterfalls, but we've never been there before, so won't know what we're missing. We were also thinking of taking the bus to Glacier Point then hiking back...

Great trip you've got planned there. No disrespect to the Tahoe area, it doesn't hold a candle to the trip you've got planned. You'll probably find not enough to do everything in Yosemite and it will no doubt be busy. But don't let that bother you. You'll be in one of the most amazing places in the ...

Re: Buzzkill? No, Cluck kill... Not on my watch!

54b - Now that is funny! I agree with TTCheryl's advice about working in a restaurant first. I don't know if there is a business out there that can loss money faster than a restaurant. I was an analyst at a bank for a number of years that had a no-loans-for-bars/restaurant policy. And I have a cred...

Great parade which brings out lots of local flavor. It starts at about 11.00 am so do't be late. Oh, you'll be an hour late....you didn't miss start. I must say some of the best fireworks at 9 pm. Carnival Village with some good bands and some great food and cheap drink. Everyone has a good time.

Although the Rhine has been mentioned. I would drive it from Rudesheim up to Koblentz one side and down the other, or start in Koblentz. A good way of stopping at the Marksburg, a well preserved castle. Also a side trip up the Mosel also to Bernkassel is also a very nice trip for seeing the Mosel Va...
