We did it with a 2½ year old and even had 2 sets of grandparents with us and I wouldn't do it again.

I'm wondering if anyone here has experience borrowing from the Sprauve Library while on vacation. I'd also like to about the selection of children's and young reader books available there. I think it will be easier to borrow books on St John instead of taking them down with us.

My husband and I have been to St John 13 times - only one time alone and that was our honeymoon. I think we might get bored if were just the 2 of us again, honestly. I really enjoy going down with another couple or with a group.

I don't wear jeans but I always bring some long lightweight track pants and I always wear them at some point on the trip.

We used one with our daughter when she was 4½. She liked it but it wasn't very convenient to bring it everywhere and tie it up so it wouldn't blow away. And the window did end up leaking.
