All of these fun adventures make you wonder how the airline industry has even survived. When will they realize we are the customers, and not cows to be herded? I heard that private jets are becoming much more popular now. at $10000 or more per flight, it's huge, but split with enough people, it can ...

Thanks for the link. This is more BVI waters, but they must have what I'm looking for... As for whether or not to stock, I can't say. I feel like I'm one of the very few who are buying this kind of thing. The link info was very helpful, but if I had seen an ad for this around the forum, I would defi...

nautical charts - help
Can anyone recommend a good nautical chart of St. Thomas and St. John? The charter companies give us one, but I'd like a more detailed one if it exists, and I'd like to hold onto it afterwards for my wall. Also, most of the ones I've found online are of the entire Virgins, but I'm only really intere...

We were flying the day after the bombings in Mumbai, and we literally waited on the tarmac for 6hrs. they gave us water and we could get up and all, but it was so hot, people were fainting. we finally made it tho...

You can buy these. they're made in Hawaii.
I don't know if it's 100% reliable, but it's the first test of this kind I've ever heard of. Has anybody tried it?

Adele, I won't be too much help in terms of things to stop at on the way, but I can guarantee that you will find a good grocery store in Red Hook very near the car ferry dock. There are plenty of shops in Red Hook (pharmacy, fishing gear, scuba shop, you name it...) and you will find what you need t...

Boating & overnight Anchorages
I am going to bareboat around the USVI (I know the area well, esp. the BVI, so I decided to rediscover St. thomas and St. John) in mid march (2007). I have been looking around for good maps of the Islands that provide achorage information, but It's quite difficult to find good info... So, a few ques...
