Self Check
The American self check kiosks are at the right end of the American counter there are two of them. After you do the self check you still have to wait for them to call your name and place the tags on your bags. Then you take your bags and wait in the customs line. Last Saturday the line was soooo lon...

Chicago Marriott O'Hare
We used the Chicago Marriott O'Hare last June when we had an early Spirit Air flight. They call their package "Park Here Fly There" and you can reserve it online. Also good luck finding any coffee at that hour at the airport! Sharon

Thanks
Thanks so much for the information. We're pretty obsessed with keeping sand and no-see-ums out of our room so we try to wash our beach towels often. We'll just have to hang them out to dry on the balcony instead. Do either of you know how busy the nicer restaurants in Coral Bay like Sweet Plantains ...

Security
We had to go through security because we were coming from the Bahamas and they make you go through after customs. You won't have to do that. I was just warning so that the lines could be very bad in case you want to go out of the secure area to the restaurants. You cannot see the lines until it is t...

Spirit Airlines
We had a very good experience with Spirit airlines going to the Bahamas through Ft Lauderdale. The planes were clean and on time. The one problem was security at Ft Lauderdale-it took almost 60 minutes to get through on our return(Spirit held our flight to Chicago though!). So even if you are hungry...

Coolibar website
I don't know if this would help but Coolibar.com has what they call loose fit swim shirts SPF 50 and their XXL is for chest size 50-52. Unfortunately they don't have a 3XL. My husband and I wore their shirts in the Bahamas last June and really liked them (and we never got burned). Sharon http://farm...

Great Website for SPF clothing
http://www.coolibar.com/ is a great website if you should decide to go for the spf bathing suit for your todler. We brought the adult rash guards to the Bahamas last June and didn't think they were too hot at all. I wore mine out biking, sailing, and walking on the beach. The site was very responsiv...
