Thanks for the recommendations. I think we will go with Emerald Beach...the other property looks a little run down.

This is getting out of control! Flights from Washington, DC to STT are up to $575 r/t today. I think I need to stop checking flights so much...it is just raising my blood pressure. I am going to give this another 2 weeks or so before I cry uncle and sell my left leg to purchase flights for the famil...

Sorry to hijack the post -- but does someone have a recommendation closer to the airport. One members of our group is going to get in a day early and wanted to find a place for 1 night that was close to the airport so she can meet up with us on sat morning when we get there.

Thanks,
Eric

Skinny's, Island Blues and Shipwreck in Coral Bay would definitely fit the bill....possibly Aqua Bistro as well.

Lime Inn, Morgan's Mango, and Rhumblines would be good choices in Cruz Bay.

We are staying at Acqua Blue in June and are really excited. I love reading their blog as the owners post new pictures of their place. It gets better and better each time I see it. Sol Inclination was also on our short list.

Ugh....prices from Washington, DC (6/21- 28) still haven't moved very much off the $550 mark except if we make 2 stops ($485) which really isn't worth the aggravation in my opinion. Any thoughts on when we should decide to pull the trigger here? (next week? by 3/30?) At this point I would be happy w...

Need Suggestions for 2nd Charter Boat Trip to BVI's

Last year, our group chartered a boat with Flyaway Charters and they were fantastic. We hit the Baths, Cooper Island, the Indians, Caves, and the Willy T. Everyone had a great time. This year we are looking to do the trip again but were are looking to see some new areas. Most of the other sample tri...

Re: Denis Bay -- As soon as you get off the trail, that area of beach can be rocky, but if you walk about 50 yds down the beach towards the "privately owned" area, it is quite beautiful and not rocky at all. Just be sure to respect to property rights of those who own the property and don't...

I practice labor/employment law -- so it is really Labor Lawyer -- however, it often gets confused with Liberal Lawyer -- which is ok too!

ZoZo's is pretty high end but will definitely have more of a selection for finicky teenagers. If you want to go to a nice place...Store Terrace would also be a good option,

For less expansive alternatives, Rhumblines or the Lime Inn would probably fit the bill.

It is definitely appropriate for teens. In terms of quality -- I would rate it as pretty average. I found the presentation and variety to be very good, but the service was poor and the overall food quality was pretty low-average considering the prices they were charging. We made the mistake of dinin...

I would go with either "Solace" which is the epitome of St. John or something more fun like "Shenanigans"

Denis Bay -- a bit of a hidden gem and definitely my favorite. You will likely be the only person there most days.
