Since we bought the timeshare in St. John we have a ton of Westin points to use and there is a Westin in Vegas. We have not booked anything yet though. We a...

I'm looking forward to meeting you too! I do a lot of PR work in DC. Mostly for Associations. I told Mel we would be meeting some people in St. John from our area and he is really looking forward to this. I need to order our shirts for the party.

That is too funny, I just saw Amy Winehouse at the Virgin Festival in Baltimore this past weekend. You know you have a problem when you go to events with the name "Virgin" in them : ) Maybe we do need to go the Rehab for our Island sickness.

They are in their 20's. We live in Manassas right down the road from you also. Sounds like a lot of fun, you pick th...

you will need to take a cab to Georgetown, metro does not go there. There are other resturants on the waterfront to choose from, Tony and Joes is seafood. Also, there is great shopping in Georgetown. Take your camera there also. Very historical too, The C & O canal is there also.

Sorry I offended you, I did not realize your situation. Enjoy your time on St. John. It's great that you take him to so many places. When I was growing up hardly ever traveled very far from Virginia, Mostly to the outer banks, that being said, I am afraid of the water there! Lot's of sharks! That is...

When I took my boyfriend for the first time, it was in the Florida Keys, it was not a great day for him because the water was very deep and water a little rough, so when I dragged him to St. John he gave it another try. Now, he loves it and can't wait to bring his kids with him to show them "hi...

Ok since I brought up the whole barracuda thing and scared everyone, I did a search and found this article. Very interesting. The chances of being attacked are very slim, but it does say to remove jewelry.

I used to work on a dive boat in Ft. Lauderdale while in college. We always told people not to wear shinny objects in the water. I could be wrong but why take the chance. That's why fishing luers(sp)work to catch fish.

Great question! The last two times, I leave all my rings, necklace, everything at home. For one reason you really don't want to wear anything that shines in the water. Barracudas will be attracted to it and I'm always afraid of Villa break ins, even though its rare it does happen.

Good luck with everything. It was worth a try, I been in a few dive shops and some do and some don't rent equipment. Also, I did a search on ebay, There are a lot of Nikonos V underwater 35mm film cameras for sell, cheap! When I started out they were very expensive. If you don't mind shooting film t...

You will need flash at those depths. Also, check with a local dive shop where you live, they sometimes rent camera equipment for trips. For you SLR camera, a housing can be quite expensive, a couple of thousand dollars for some. Also I would look at getting insurance for your camera. Some policies o...

Hi Flip flop, Too bad we are not there at the same time, I would do it for you, We arrive on the Dec. 2, but I heard Steve Simmonson, I think that is the spelling, the one who does the calander and wonderful photos of the Island, I think he also does portraits as well. Not sure of his rates though. ...
