Jet blue connection in sju too short?

Shopping for flights and I've found one with a 37 minute connection in San Juan. It looks like Jet Blue uses only one terminal but I'm worried this time is too short. Has anyone connected through San Juan on Jet Blue who can tell me how spread out the gates are?

Re: $50 Extra/Ticket to Avoid MIA?

The good thing about Miami is that there are lots of flights to stt and sju out every day. We got stuck once on the runway in dc and missed our connection to stt in Charlotte. There was no alternative flight or carriers to get south, even to Puerto Rico that day. Instead we had to go to Philadelphia...

Re: November weather

I've been starting to think about a Thanksgiving trip, but Pia's post above gives me pause. On a 10 day vacation in May a few years ago, we got about 7 days of heavy overcast & rain and mosquitoes and I said never again in May.......sounds like I better stay away from November too. Thanks for th...

Re: Villas with on-site caretakers

Wow! You guys are fast. I'll check out the ones mentioned. We have stayed in villas before, but with a large group of a few families. But if it's just our family, I like the idea of having someone else on the property, my thinking is the more people around a property, the less appealing it will be t...

Villas with on-site caretakers

Does anyone know which small (2-3 bedroom) villas have on-site caretakers? I've found a few from online descriptions, but if anyone has a recommendation of a place they liked that was under $3000/week low season with on-site ownership or caretaker, please let me know. I like the added security of ha...

Re: Great Price on Jetblue

I think fares took a dive over the weekend. Spirit is running $273 RT from DC to STT mid week Jan & Feb. That's pretty cheap. I usually aim for anything under $400, and anything under $300 is a great deal.

If you don't need all 4 bedrooms together, but could go with clusters, you could also try:
Crystal Seaview, Avalon, Beach Garden, Croix Vista, Seaview, Promises Kept, Leeward St. John

Re: Which of these villas would you choose? Why?

Did you see Casa Luna? Coral Bay side, all bedrooms under same roof, reasonable rates. That has made my short list for several trips where we needed interior bedroom access for kids, although we have not ended up renting it yet so I don't have firsthand knowledge. For some reason, many of the houses...

At least you're going home. We got stuck in Charlotte on the way down and couldn't get to STT until the next day. Never again through Charlotte for me, although there are many others on this board who have had no problems. Are there any other flights later in the day that you can take in case you mi...

Went in January and had to deal with north swells, made our favorite north shore beaches unswimmable. Went another year in early May and had rain 5 days out of our 10 day trip, plus awful mosquitoes. Have been twice in late March/early April and had great weather both times, but some north swells th...

On the one hand, I love the idea of a hot tub, especially since your house looks like it's up pretty high where it might be chilly at night. On the other hand, it's a real bummer when you rent a house with one and it isn't working (seems to be a problem keeping them up and running correctly on STJ) ...
